Capturing Brand Excellence: R.M.Williams Green Hills Store Launch
After a brief hiatus, I’m kicking off 2026 by sharing a project that perfectly exemplifies the power of visual brand storytelling: the new R.M.Williams retail space at Stockland Green Hills.
When Edge Commercial Photography was commissioned to document this opening, the objective was precise: produce high-quality, editorial-style imagery that honors both the premium retail environment and the sophisticated architectural intent of the brand.
Documenting the Retail Spatial Story
In high-end retail architecture photography, the goal is to translate a physical space into a digital experience. Our brief focused on a comprehensive visual narrative, including:
Hero Product Zones: Highlighting the iconic boot wall and curated displays.
Architectural Nuance: Capturing the entry portal, timber detailing, and custom brickwork.
Material Integrity: Showcasing the intersection of metal fixtures and integrated lighting.
Every frame was composed to align with the R.M.Williams aesthetic—rugged yet refined, traditional yet modern.
Versatile Assets for Multi-Channel Marketing
Retail timelines are notoriously tight. Working within a pre-opening window, we delivered a versatile library of landscape and portrait assets. These were optimized for diverse applications, from PR and social media to portfolios for architects and shopfitters.
Our post-production process focused on maintaining clean architectural lines and natural lighting tones, ensuring the final images felt authentic while remaining elevated for national brand storytelling.
“It was a pleasure working with Mark… He captured the space beautifully, with a great eye for detail, light and overall store aesthetic. The high-quality assets were used confidently across multiple channels.”
