Weemala Stage 1 Construction
From September 2021 to November 2023, the Weemala Boolaroo Phase 1 project underwent a remarkable transformation, and our professional drone video captures the entire journey. This site, once home to a historic lead smelter and later remediated to address environmental challenges, has been reimagined into a thriving community space featuring over 150 residential lots and two commercial lots.
Our drone footage chronicles the project’s key milestones, showcasing the expertise and dedication that brought this vision to life. Witness Daracon Group’s innovative solutions, including the use of site-won rock to sustainably create sub-base material for local roads and the meticulous management of over 50ML of water to protect the environment. The video also highlights complex lead-in sewer works along Main Road, demonstrating expert traffic management to ensure safety during construction.
Set against the challenges of record-breaking wet weather and industry-wide material shortages, the video showcases how Daracon, in collaboration with Green Capital Group, ADW Johnson, and Lake Macquarie City Council, delivered the project on time and on budget.
